01 / Toki99 · Silvia Bo

A moment with clay

A moment with clay

Working with clay asks for a different kind of attention. You notice the pressure of your fingers, the weight of a piece and the way a shape changes as you turn it. A pottery class is a chance to put the phone down and spend time making something with your hands.

Silvia Bo, the ceramicist behind Toki99_ceramica, works with stoneware in Monferrato. Her practice includes tableware and personal objects; during your stay, we can help arrange a class with her.

Tell us whether you’re coming alone, as a couple or with family. We’ll check the available session and practical details with Silvia, including what happens to your piece after the class.

02 / Rasita Massaggi

Time to unwind

Time to unwind

Sometimes the best addition to a holiday is a quiet hour without an itinerary. A massage can be that pause: time set aside for yourself between a walk, a visit to town and dinner.

Rasita offers personalised massage sessions in the Acqui Terme area. We can help organise a session for guests and check the available options with her before your stay. Share your preferred day and we’ll come back with the details, location and price.

03 / ASD Animal Walk

Meet the neighbours. Walk at their pace.

Our neighbours at ASD Animal Walk introduce you to the countryside in the company of llamas and alpacas. Walking beside an animal gives familiar things a little more interest: a pause in the path, a patch of grass, a view you might otherwise pass by.

In good company, at Animal Walk.

These walks take place around Cavatore and can be arranged throughout the year by reservation. Ask us to check an outing for your dates; we’ll help you find out about the route, suitable clothing and arrangements for children before you go.

04 / Acqui Terme

Acqui Terme, shaped by water

Begin with La Bollente, the hot spring in the centre of Acqui Terme. Its small pavilion makes a memorable stop during a walk through town and introduces the thermal history behind the city’s name.

Acqui Terme, after the sun goes down.

From the square, leave time for the old streets and a coffee. If you would like a spa visit as part of the day, let us know: we can help you check which facilities and treatments are available during your stay. Visiting the spring and booking a spa session are separate experiences.

Stay a little longer and see Acqui Terme after sunset. The streets and squares take on a different atmosphere as the lights come on — a lovely setting for an unhurried evening walk.

05 / Cavatore

A little closer to Cavatore

Make room for a wander through Cavatore, the village on our doorstep. Look back across the hills, follow the quiet corners that catch your eye and enjoy a change of perspective on the landscape around the house.

Our little corner of Piedmont.

This little film gives you a glimpse of the village and its setting. Ask us for a few pointers before you head out, or simply leave yourself time to explore.

06 / Around Cavatore

Take the longer way home

Take the longer way home

The hills around Cavatore invite you to spend part of the day outdoors. Set off on foot or by bicycle and make room for pauses along the way. There is no need to turn every outing into a full day’s expedition.

Tell us what kind of ride or walk you enjoy and how much time you have. We can suggest where to begin and help you check the route against the weather and your experience. If you are bringing bicycles, ask us about the arrangements at the house.

No cycling excursion planned, but keen to keep up your training? Our professional indoor cycling bike looks out over the valley. Set your own pace, enjoy the view and make a workout part of your time here, without heading out on the roads.

07 / La Ventura

Into nature with La Ventura

Meet Alessio and the team at La Ventura, where local guides invite you to look more closely at the natural world. Their interests range from birds and amphibians to reptiles, wolves and the stories of the surrounding landscape.

A closer look at nature, with La Ventura.

A guided outing is a chance to understand more of what you see along the way. In the film, the team also invites visitors to discover local produce at their venue. Tell us what interests you and we’ll help check the available experiences and practical details.

08 / The terrace · The garden

Let the valley come to you.

Let the valley come to you.

You don’t always have to go far to see something special. Our terrace and garden are lovely places to watch the wild life of the valley: settle into a quiet spot, look across the landscape and give yourself time to notice what moves through it.

Closer by, the lavender plantings draw butterflies, bees and other insects to the terrace. Follow their movements between the flowers and look out for the striking black bees that visit here. It is a small, absorbing world, best enjoyed slowly and without disturbing its visitors.

Bring a camera or simply a little curiosity. What you see changes with the season, the weather and the time of day, so every quiet pause outside can feel different.

09 / Pomona · Acqui Terme

Meet the place through its food

A visit to the market or a conversation about what is being grown nearby can be as much a part of a holiday as an organised activity. Pomona, a small regenerative farm in Prasco, and the stalls of Acqui Terme offer two ways to get closer to local food.

You can also ask us to shop before you arrive. Browse our Taste story for more about Pomona, breakfast and a morning of shopping in town.
